BTZx is dedicated to increasing Nova Scotia’s capacity for net-zero building through collaboration between the building industry, government, and educational institutions. Recognizing the critical role of education in achieving sustainable building practices, BTZx has developed the Climate Literacy Training course to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to support high-performance building and deep retrofitting.

Designed for architects, engineers, technicians, construction managers, tradespeople, and building managers, this initiative ensures that industry professionals understand the implementation of sustainable building techniques, reduce emissions, and adapt to evolving regulations. The course aligns with BTZx’s mission to accelerate industry readiness for net-zero building practices and retrofits through targeted education and skill-building.
